Learning to Love Myself

Hi! I'm Janae! My story isn't super glamorous, and I'm sure it sounds a lot like many other women's, which is why I started health coaching!

 I spent too many years counting calories and macros, trying all the fad diets, over-exercising, over-obsessing, restricting and hating my body.  I was miserable, skinny-fat, and not healthy or happy.  I became burnt out on diet culture and a few years after the birth of my second daughter I vowed to take back control of my mind and body.  I became a certified yoga instructor (YTT200) in 2016 and then pursued certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, NY to become a Health Coach in 2018. I finished my B.A. of Psychology in 2019 as a personal goal and to emphasize that the mind-body connection is incredibly strong. I aim to clarify conflicting information in the health and wellness space and to help other women struggling with the same issues that had plagued me for so long. 

Some days aren't as good as others, and that's to be expected.  I'm actually in a place where I feel balanced, healthy and happy.  Health is a journey and I hope we can work together to help you with yours!
